Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II for the Skokie Ambulatory Care Center. The role is full time (40 hours) with a 8:30 am – 5:00 pm schedule, Monday through Friday, with every other Saturday.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available to eligible candidates. Responsibilities include preparing patients, performing radiographic exams, and ensuring high-quality imaging while maintaining timely submissions to the RIS.

Qualifications

• Education: Certificate or Associate’s degree from an accredited radiology program.
• License: IEMA licensing required.
• Certification: CPR certification required; ARRT registry eligible.
• Experience: Previous radiology experience required.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort.
• Perform radiographic exams.
• Review radiographs to ensure optimum quality.
• Complete and submit information and images to RIS in a timely manner.
• Work independently and operate all equipment with minimal assistance.
• Check supplies, stock room and maintain department cleanliness.
• Assist in printing films and retrieval of reports.
• May work at other NorthShore sites to accommodate schedules.
• Report environmental/equipment issues to appropriate staff.
