Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II for a full-time role at 130 S Main Street, Lombard, IL. You will operate radiology equipment to produce diagnostic images and assist physicians in obtaining results, while explaining procedures to patients to ease anxiety.

The position involves floating to Addison, Hinsdale, Center for Health (Elmhurst) and Oak Park, with a 40-hour workweek and an on-call schedule including rotating weekends and holidays. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• IEMA licensure or authorization to perform medical radiation required.
• Must be ARRT(R) certification candidate within 2 years of temporary license date.
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiology equipment to produce radiographs as directed by Radiologists and established protocols.
• Assists physicians and staff with obtaining images and records using PACS or HIS.
• Explains procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
• Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects of the job.
