Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II for the Elmhurst Center for Health site. Full-time, 40 hours weekly, 12pm-8:30pm with on-call, rotating weekends and holidays. Entry includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and competitive benefits.

You will operate radiology equipment, assist physicians, explain procedures to patients, and ensure quality images while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate’s degree preferred with IEMA licensure or compliance notice.
• ARRT(R) candidacy required within 2 years of temporary license date.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification is required.
• Prior x-ray experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of ACR/JCAHO requirements to maintain compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiology equipment to produce radiographs per protocol.
• Assist physicians and staff with obtaining images and records via PACS/HIS.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and build trust.
• Deliver customer service in all aspects of the job.
