Job summary

Endeavor Health in Skokie, IL seeks a Radiologic Technologist II to join our ambulatory care team. You will perform radiographic exams, prepare patients, review images, and submit data to RIS in a 40-hour workweek with hours 8:30 am–5:00 pm on weekdays and every other Saturday.

Requirements include a radiology certificate/associate degree, IEMA license, CPR certification, ARRT registry eligibility, and prior radiology experience. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Associate's degree from an accredited radiology program
• IEMA licensing required
• CPR certification required; ARRT registry eligible required
• Previous radiology experience required
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
• Perform radiographic exams
• Review radiographs to ensure optimum quality
• Complete and submit information and images to RIS in a timely manner
• Consistently works independently and operates all equipment with minimal assistance to performance procedures
• Check supplies/stocks room and maintains general cleanliness in department
• Assists in printing films and retrieval of reports
• May be required to work at other NorthShore off-site facilities to accommodate internal/external customers past schedules hours
• Reports environmental/equipment problems to appropriate resource personnel
