Advocate Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for the Navicent Health Medical Center Baldwin Radiology department. This full-time role offers a 40-hour workweek with M-TH 11a-9p schedule.

The position involves performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, documenting patient histories, identifying patients, and managing contrast administration. Minimum requirements include ARRT-recognized radiologic technology education, registry-eligibility within 1 year, and BLS.

Formación

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Registry-eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development appropriate to patient population served.

Responsabilidades

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
