Job summary

Advocate Health Lincoln Radiology is seeking a full-time Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams under the radiologist's direction. You will coordinate daily workflow and handle related clerical duties in a 101-bed Lincolnton facility.

The role requires ARRT-recognized training, registry eligibility within 12 months, and BLS. Expect physical activity and collaboration with physicians in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an ARRT-recognized radiologic technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with completion within 1 year of hire date.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations with minimal supervision.
• Coordinates daily activities and assists with clerical duties.
• Verifies patient identity and validates requisition details.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologists and other physicians as needed.
• Selects, operates and positions radiographic equipment correctly.
• Maintains required records per departmental standards.
