• Must take the initiative to identify and solve problems.
• Gather complete documentation of all pertinent information to provide accurate and timely service to patients and ensure completion all forms.

Summary

Under the broad direction of the Radiologist, Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor and the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, the Radiology Technologist shall perform radiographic examinations on selected portions of the anatomy. The technologist is expected to perform a variety of procedures with the knowledge and ability to properly and safely obtain diagnostic images as requested by the clinician on patients in the following age groups: adolescence 12-18 years, adults 19-64 years, aging adults 66 and over. Must be able to work weekends, varied hours, scheduled and "ON CALL" hours, as appropriate.

Credentials and Qualifications

• Competency in all aspects of radiology, patient positioning, exposure factors and radiation protection
• Must have understanding of anatomy and pathology as to how they affect quality of a procedure.
• Must be able to work weekends, varied hours, scheduled and “On Call” hours.

Salary Range

Salary Range $34.50 - $34.50 Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
