Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL, seeks a CT Technologist PRN to perform CT imaging procedures on selected anatomy under radiologist guidance, applying approved scan protocols and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

You will work scheduled weekdays and weekends and on-call as needed, maintain equipment and image quality, assist radiologists with biopsies when required, and strive to deliver compassionate, efficient care in a fast-paced cancer center.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required or to be obtained; CT technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• On-call availability required as scheduled.
• Strong patient-care skills and teamwork in a radiology setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures on selected anatomy per clinician orders.
• Apply scan protocols and ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.
• Work scheduled weekdays, weekends, and on-call hours as needed.
• Assist radiologist with biopsy procedures and post-procedure care.

The technologist is expected to perform a variety of procedures with the knowledge and ability to apply the proper scan protocols needed to visualize the anatomy in question.
