UCHealth in Aurora, CO is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in an onsite, PRN capacity within the Radiology Diagnostic department. You will schedule reviews, educate patients, and manage contrast administration under ARRT guidelines.

The role requires ARRT registration, BLS/CPR certification, and a strong focus on patient safety. You will work with experienced teams in a fast-paced setting, with opportunities for professional growth within UCHealth.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Review patient history, physician's orders and scheduling. Educate patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice. Monitor patient condition continually and report changes as appropriate.
• Prepare equipment and supplies. Select exposure factors and imaging parameters. Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions.
• Position patient and perform imaging procedures. Analyze results and address image quality issues. Enter and transmit images. May work with Radiology students.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
