The Cardiovascular Radiographer I is a health care professional that, through the utilization of specialized equipment and under the direction of a qualified cardiologist, performs procedures on adult patients resulting in accurate diagnosis and/or optimal treatment of congenital or acquired heart and/or peripheral vascular disease while maintaining maximum patient safety.
CVRT-I is primarily responsible for employing imaging techniques and operation of other related equipment.
