The Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist I is a health care professional that, through the utilization of specialized equipment and under the direction of a qualified cardiologist assists procedures on adult patients resulting in accurate diagnosis and/or optimal treatment of congenital or acquired heart and/or peripheral vascular disease while maintaining maximum patient safety. CVRT‑I is primarily responsible for employing imaging techniques and operation of X‑Ray and other related equipment. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.
Education, Credentials, Licenses: Graduate of an approved accredited program of Radiologic Technology. Current CPR certification ACLS certification (must be obtained within orientation period and prior to working independently) ARRT(R) registered
Understanding of radiation protection and sterile technique
Licensed RT with adequate clinical experience from an approved program.
