Job description

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health, the Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of radiographic, fluoroscopic, and specialized procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision, under the general direction of a radiologist and radiology administration. The incumbent shall comply with all applicable laws and rules, including the Dignity Health Standards of Conduct and policies. They should seek guidance when in doubt, promptly report any potential or suspected violations, and assist in investigating allegations of violations. Additionally, the incumbent will assist in risk evaluation and collaborate with facility leaders to implement, monitor, and mitigate risks and corrective plans outlined by the Compliance program.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Must have satisfactorily completed a formal radiologic technology training program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and the California Department of Public Health Radiation Health Branch (CDPH-RHB).
• AHA Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Diagnostic Radiology Certification (CRT).
• Radiologic Technologist (CA RRT) certification required.
• Radiologic Health Fluoroscopy (RG RHF) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• ARRT certification required.

PREFERRED:

• Radiologic Health Mammography (RG RHM).

Pay Range:

$56.22 - $62.21 per hour
