Position Summary

Performs all routine and emergency radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and operates the CT scanner for limited procedures. Performs proficiently in all aspects of two or more modalities. Provides radiology services to all ages.

• Operate the CT scanner for limited procedures.
• Be proficient in all aspects of two or more modalities.
• Provide radiology services to patients of all ages.

Qualifications

Required

• One year or more as a staff technologist performing all routine and emergency radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Operate the CT scanner for limited procedures and be able to take call.
• Completion of radiologic technology training in an ARRT-approved school.
• Meet all Rad Tech I and Rad Tech II competencies.
• ARRT certification.
• California State Certification (CRT).
• California State Fluoroscopy permit.
• Current AHA BLS CPR certification.

Preferred

• 3 years of experience as a staff technologist.
• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Science.
• Specialized certifications in CT, US (RDMS), Nuclear Medicine (CNMT), or N(ARRT).

Dominican Hospital, a member of Dignity Health, is a 222-bed facility offering a wide range of services including emergency care, cardiac, orthopedics, oncology, women’s and children’s services. It is recognized for hospital safety, patient safety, cardiac care, and stroke treatment. The hospital provides advanced cardiac procedures, including TAVR, and partnerships with Stanford Health Care for neurosurgery and NICU services.

Pay Range

$56.89 - $67.93 /hour
