Job description

Responsibilities

• Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meetings and radiology needs of patients.
• Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning according to the order.
• Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity.
• Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
• Mechanical aptitude and confidence in troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to prevent failures.

Qualifications

Required Education and Licensure:

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R); must maintain current registration.
• Certified by the State of Texas – MRT; must maintain current certification.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.

Radiologic Technologist I

As a Radiologic Technologist I at St. Joseph, you will help capture diagnostic images from patients to assist Radiologists in accurate diagnosis and ruling out conditions.

You will perform various technical diagnostic imaging procedures daily and work directly with patients, playing a vital role in their experience.

Success in this role requires understanding the importance of diagnostic imaging, including workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results for timely and accurate diagnosis.
