Job summary

UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform x-ray exams, prepare patients, and ensure high-quality imaging for diagnostic interpretation. You will work with physicians and medical assistants to support patient care and maintain precise records.

The role requires ARRT registration, state licensure as applicable, and a current BLS. You will operate under strict radiation safety guidelines and contribute to QA/QC processes in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program required.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• ARRT registration required at time of hire.
• State licensure as Radiologic Technologist required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray services for patients as needed.
• Position patients and protect during use.
• Conduct point-of-care testing as needed (flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG, HCG).
• Maintain medical records and scan charts to patient files.
• Adhere to ALARA and radiation safety procedures.
• Collaborate with providers and medical staff to determine best procedures.
