Job summary

UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures across all age groups. You will work with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants to deliver high‑quality imaging and patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include positioning, obtaining quality images, and maintaining patient records, with emphasis on safety and QA/QC. BLS and ARRT certification are required; state licensure as applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program required.
• ARRT registration required at time of hire.
• State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist is required at the time of hire (if applicable by state law).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for x-ray services as needed.
• Under the direction of the clinical provider, perform x-ray services for patients by applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly.
• Ensure patients are positioned correctly on or in front of equipment and protected during use.
• May need to push patient in a wheelchair.
• Maintain medical records and scanning charts to patient files.
• Conduct courtesy call-backs for patient follow-up on care.
