Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Illinois. You will start up and operate X-ray equipment, ensure patient identification and safety, and document procedures in the EMR for accurate billing.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Active ARRT certification and state licensure.
• Ability to operate X-ray equipment safely and accurately.
• Experience with EMR and PACS workflows.
• Excellent patient communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Set up and shut down X-ray equipment per procedure.
• Identify patient and confirm examination orders.
• Prepare patients and perform radiologic procedures safely.
• Document history and observations during exam.
• Maintain radiation safety and shield use.
• Ensure equipment functioning and report malfunctions.
• Process radiologic procedures in EMR for billing.
• Obtain pre-authorization for CT scans when needed.
• Verify exam in PACS and update patient charts.
• Assist with basic medical assisting as needed.
