Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care, a fast-growing network of urgent care centers across the United States, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to join our team. You will perform radiologic exams, ensure patient safety, and support efficient patient flow in a busy urgent care setting.

Qualifications

• Mastery of radiologic procedures and safety protocols.
• Knowledge of anatomy and body mechanics for X-ray testing.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Experience with EMR and radiology reporting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and shut down X-Ray equipment.
• Identify patient and confirm exam orders.
• Prepare patients and perform radiologic procedures safely.
• Take patient history and document observations.
• Use radiation protection and shielding techniques.
• Ensure equipment functions properly and report malfunctions.
• Record radiologic procedures in EMR for billing.
• Obtain pre-authorizations for CT scans.
• Verify X-Ray exams in PACS and update patient charts.
• Clarify discrepant readings with the provider.
• Assist with site stocking and cleaning.
• Participate in quality control and assurance programs.
• Support patient flow with basic medical assisting and triage.
