The Hospital of Central Connecticut is actively hiring Radiologic Technologists to join our team in New Britain, Connecticut. This role involves performing diagnostic radiographic imaging, positioning patients, and ensuring high-quality imaging while delivering patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
• State of Connecticut Radiographer license required.
• ARRT certification in Radiography required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures in ambulatory or acute settings.
• Position patients and operate diagnostic X-ray equipment.
• Provide patient care and maintain safety during imaging exams for accurate diagnoses.

Shift Detail: Every Monday, Tuesday, Friday 11p-3a. Every other Thursday 11p-3a. Every other Weekend 4p-3a. Holiday and on-call rotations.

Position Summary:

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures including but not limited to ambulatory or acute settings by positioning patients, operating diagnostic x-ray equipment and providing patient care during imaging exams to assist in diagnosis and treatment of the patient.
