Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain, CT is actively hiring Radiologic Technologists to join our team. Whether you’re a new graduate or an experienced technologist, we want to speak with you about opportunities in our radiology department.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
• State of Connecticut Radiographer license is required.
• ARRT certification in Radiography is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures, positions patients, operates X-ray equipment and provides patient care during imaging exams to assist in diagnosis and treatment.

Shift Detail: Every Monday, Tuesday, Friday 11p-3a. Every other Thursday 11p-3a. Every other Weekend 4p-3a. Holiday and on-call rotations.

Position Summary:

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures including but not limited to ambulatory or acute settings by positioning patients, operating diagnostic x-ray equipment and providing patient care during imaging exams to assist in diagnosis and treatment of the patient.
