Job summary

The Radiologic Technologist at The Hospital of Central Connecticut performs diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures in ambulatory and acute settings. You will position patients, operate X-ray equipment, and provide patient care during imaging exams to assist in diagnosis and treatment.

Graduation from an accredited Radiography program, CT radiography competence, and ARRT certification are required along with CT license and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography required.
• State of Connecticut Radiographer license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures in ambulatory or acute settings.
• Position patients, operate X-ray equipment and ensure patient safety during exams.

Position Summary

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures including but not limited to ambulatory or acute settings by positioning patients, operating diagnostic x-ray equipment and providing patient care during imaging exams to assist in diagnosis and treatment of the patient.
