Qualifications

• Associate degree or radiologic tech certificate required
• ARRT certification and BLS required
• New Graduate experience welcomed

Responsibilities

• Prepares procedure room and patient for radiography exams; disinfects equipment after each use
• Educates patient on the procedure; obtains history and consent; verifies ICD-10 codes; ensures safety forms
• Performs procedures per protocols; positions patients; monitors and assists radiologists; minimizes patient discomfort
• Demonstrates competency on general diagnostic imaging equipment; ensures quality images; conducts QA with <2% error rate
• Run daily pending work reports; track PACS/HMR errors; maintain charge accuracy with <2% error rate
• Maintain supplies; stock rooms; report par levels to the designated person; keep area ready for procedures
• All other duties as assigned within scope of radiology responsibilities
