Job summary

Bayhealth Sussex Campus Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT and general radiology. The role involves preparing the patient and room, explaining procedures, and obtaining necessary consents.

You will perform imaging, monitor patients, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate results. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, QA, and adherence to safety protocols, with shift variability and a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree; Radiologic Technology
• Credential(s): BLS, MRT, RT CT Tech; CT CBO if RT CT not required
• Experience: 1 year Radiology OR new grad with CT program completion

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure room and patient for studies; disinfect equipment after each patient.
• Educate patient about procedures and obtain consent; verify patient information and ICD-10 codes.
• Perform procedures per protocol; monitor patient; assist radiologists; minimize patient discomfort.
• Demonstrate competency on CT and general imaging equipment; ensure high quality images.
• Maintain QA program and systems (HIS, RIS, PACS); run daily pending work reports.
• Stock supplies; ensure room readiness at shift start and during day.
• Other duties as assigned within scope.
