Job summary

Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington, TX seeks a Radiologic Technologist for a full-time role. The position involves imaging procedures, patient care, and maintaining equipment within a team-based radiology department.

The successful candidate will have graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT/CMRT certification eligibility, and BCLS compliance; 1 year experience preferred. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible hires.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology upon hire.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• 1 year radiologic technologist experience preferred.
• CMRT certification upon hire.
• ARRT certification within 6 months.
• BCLS required prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.

Responsibilities

• Imaging procedures, quality and processing.
• Explain procedures to patient or guardian prior to exam.
• Position patient to correct anatomical area.
• Use multidisciplinary, team oriented actions.
• Assess and recognize patient conditions.
• Adjust technical factors and operate/maintain equipment.
• Maintain and enhance technical skills and participate in supervision as needed.

Work hours: Full-Time 40 hours; 4 x 10’s Flexible Evening Shifts

Sign-on bonus: for eligible Radiographers (eligible upon hire with a signed retention agreement)

Here’s What You Need: Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology upon hire required
• Associate's Degree preferred

Experience

• 1 year radiologic technologist experience preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (Either by the TDH or TMB) upon hire required
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists 6 months required
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
