Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.
This job is ON-SITE.
FTE: 0.875
Shift: Shift 3 (7 on 7 off, 3rd shift, 2000-0600, Monday through Sunday)
Under the direction of radiologists or other providers, prepares patients and performs diagnostic radiology procedures, operating imaging equipment, adhering to protocols and radiation safety measures. Provides excellent customer service, interacts positively with patients and staff, and performs ancillary services as needed.
One year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology preferred. Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year of experience.
Post-high school completion of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program required. Additional college coursework or a healthcare-related degree is preferred but not mandatory.
Self-motivated, well-organized, flexible, and able to prioritize effectively, especially in emergencies.
ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current WI Radiographer license required. BLS certification from AHA or equivalent required within 90 days of hire.
