Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Texas Back Institute is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for a full-time, Monday–Friday role in Plano. You will perform radiology procedures, record patient information in the EHR, and maintain patient comfort and safety while providing high-quality imaging care.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Radiology Technology, ARRT license, 2 years of radiology training/experience, and a commitment to ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited program in Radiology Technology.
• Two years of radiology training or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years basic x-ray experience and/or trauma work preferred.
• Current ARRT license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment as directed by attending physician.
• Record patient information accurately and maintain the EHR.
• Maintain patient comfort and adhere to safety procedures.
• Maintain and improve diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills with resources provided.
• Perform quality control checks on radiologic/x-ray equipment and documentation.
• Assist with general patient care if needed.

Full time (Monday - Friday, days), no nights, no on call, no weekends, no holidays

Seeking a Radiologic Technologist for our Texas Back Institute practice who provides specialized expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role:

• You will perform timely radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by attending physician

• You will properly record patient information and maintain EHR

• Maintain patient comfort and adhere to proper safety procedures

• Maintain and improving diagnostic imaging knowledge and x-ray tech skills with support and assistance of outside educational resources

• You will perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic / x-ray equipment

• You may assist with general patient care if needed

What Qualifications you will need:

• Must hold a degree from an accredited school for Radiology Technology

• 2 years training in an accredited school for Radiology Technology is required

• Minimum of 2 years basic x-ray experience and/or trauma work is required

• Must have a current ARRT license
