Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting is required.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and BLS (American Heart Association) certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Verify orders and patient identifiers; explain procedures and address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Perform exams and administer contrast using venipuncture and sterile technique when applicable.
• Document studies in RIS/PACS and finalize workflows; support department operations and compliance.
