Job summary

UPMC-GoHealthUrgentCare is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic examinations, ensure image quality, and support patient care across our centers. The role involves collaborating with providers and medical staff, maintaining records, and upholding radiation safety standards.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma, graduation from an approved Radiologic Technologist program, BLS certification, ARRT registration, and state licensure where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program required.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire, from ARC or AHA.
• ARRT registration required at time of hire.
• State licensure as Radiologic Technologist required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations and ensure image quality for diagnosis.
• Position patients properly and protect them during exposure.
• Maintain medical records and documentation of procedures.
• Collaborate with providers, medical assistants, and staff to ensure smooth patient care.
• Follow radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Provide patient education and communication regarding procedures.
