Job summary

American Family Care, Inc. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, assist physicians and support clinical needs in our urgent care settings.

Centers operate seven days a week with walk-in availability and onsite labs and x-ray capabilities. You will ensure patient comfort, adhere to ALARA radiation protection, manage image processing and support registration and documentation as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required; ARRT-registered or board eligible preferred.
• Licensed per state regulation; MA certification/registry acceptable in some states.
• EMT/Paramedic certification acceptable in some states.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and explain procedures with compassion.
• Position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Practice ALARA radiation protection techniques.
• Process images and prepare for physician review.
• Utilize digital and non-digital imaging equipment per policy.
• Assist with treatments and administrative duties as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and arrange for repairs of equipment.
• Complete forms, logs, and reports of work performed.
• Serve as Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant when required.
• Other duties as assigned.
