Job summary

American Family Care seeks a qualified Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures for patient care. The role supports physicians, maintains equipment, and may assist with administrative tasks. Candidates should be ARRT-registered or board eligible and licensed per state regulations.

The position offers a patient-centered environment with walk-in or appointment-based service at a busy Harpers Point location, including on-site lab and X-ray capabilities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• ARRT-registered or board eligible preferred; licensed per state regulation.
• Medical Assistant Certification or related credentials acceptable in some states.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and explain procedures in a compassionate manner.
• Position patients appropriately for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Practice ALARA radiation protection techniques.
• Process images and prepare for physician review.
• Utilize diagnostic imaging equipment following policies and procedures.
• Aid providers with prescribed patient treatments as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and arrange repairs on equipment.
• Complete forms and maintain records of work performed.
• Serve as Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant if needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
