Job summary

Allina Health is a not-for-profit health system serving Minnesota and western Wisconsin. The Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging in inpatient and outpatient settings, following department policies to ensure safety and quality care for patients at multiple sites, with a home base in Richfield and coverage at partner clinics.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, patient interaction, and operating imaging equipment in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical Training graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Internal candidates - 1 year experience; External candidates - 3 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes procedures in compliance with physician orders and department guidelines.
• Identifies patient with two identifiers.
• Documents accurately all needed aspects of the procedure.
• Observes and communicates with patient, responding to needs.
• Maintains safe patient environment in procedure area.
• Performs procedures with high degree of accuracy.
• Gathers all relevant information to assist in interpretation of images.
• Understands the Enterprise Medical Imaging/PACS system.
• Ensures all documentation is complete post procedure.

Education
