Salary ranges from $26.85 to $41.50 per hour with eligibility for up to $15,000 in commitment incentives; roles include preparation and administration of contrast media and radiographic procedures, with opportunities across multiple locations from Chapel Hill to Eden.

Positions vary by site, with a focus on high-quality patient imaging and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program. If degree is not yet complete, candidates may be selected contingent on completing a degree program within 90 days of hire.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or registry eligible and become registered within one year from date of hire. (Registry eligible candidates must provide a copy of diploma from accredited program.) Must maintain registry status and continuing education requirements annually.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification

Responsibilities

• Conducts routine procedures and tests using radiology equipment to acquire patient diagnostic data.
• Assists the radiologist in completion of intricate radiographic procedures including preparation and administration of contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Performs patient assessments and provides patient care.
• Evaluates the appropriateness of examination and assesses the quality of radiographic images.
