Job summary

Baystate Noble Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to operate diagnostic X-ray equipment and assist Radiologists in a variety of imaging procedures both in acute care units and outpatient settings.

The role includes fluoroscopy, invasive exams, and portable imaging in NICU, Pedi, OR, ICU, ER, and surgical suites, with readiness to support imaging in other Baystate locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates patient-focused service and positive communication; maintains confidentiality.
• Operates diagnostic X-ray equipment to obtain high-quality images according to Radiologist specifications.
• Performs fluoroscopy and invasive exams as required under Radiologist supervision; handles portable imaging in NICU, Pedi, OR, ICU, ER, and outpatient settings.
• Assists in surgical procedures and defecography, barium enema, myelography and GI exams as required.
• Responds to contrast reactions and medical emergencies according to department and hospital policy.
• May float to Baystate Health system locations to support patient care and staffing needs.
