Job summary

Baystate Mercy Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate diagnostic X-ray equipment under radiologist supervision. Responsibilities include fluoroscopy, NICU/OR portable imaging, and outpatient exams while ensuring patient safety and image quality.

The ideal candidate holds an MA RT license with ARRT registration; strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and adherence to regulatory standards are essential. Willingness to travel within the Baystate Health system may be required.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an MA RT and ARRT registered.
• Experience with fluoroscopy, portable imaging, and OR procedures.
• Knowledge of JC, MQSA and ACR standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic X-ray equipment under Radiologist supervision.
• Perform fluoroscopy and invasive exams per policy manual.
• Conduct portable imaging in NICU, Pedi, OR, ICU, ER and outpatient settings.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and ensure accurate data entry into systems.
• Maintain equipment and perform QC checks to ensure safety and image quality.
