Job summary

Jobot is seeking a licensed Radiologic Technologist to join our Family & Internal Medicine team in Chicago, IL. You will perform diagnostic X-ray examinations, prepare patients, and ensure safety and infection control standards in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Required: IEMA Radiologic Technologist License, ARRT certification, and EMR experience. Two years in radiology preferred. This is an on-site, permanent role with competitive benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• EMR experience and familiarity with radiologic workflows.
• Knowledge of radiologic procedures, radiation safety, and infection control.
• Strong patient care, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and maintain confidentiality (HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and position patients appropriately.
• Perform diagnostic X-rays according to provider orders and established standards.
• Operate equipment safely and follow radiation protection and infection control protocols.
• Review images for quality and completeness before provider interpretation.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions; document services in EMR and radiology logs.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, organizational, and accreditation requirements.
• Escort and room patients; obtain and document vital signs and prepare examination rooms.
