Job summary

The position requires an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R certification, and compliant life-support credentials, with a focus on ALARA and high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• BLS (Instructor) or BLS/ARC-BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of Diagnostic Imaging procedures across age groups.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure proper patient identification.
• Assist Radiologist with procedures and protocols as needed.
• Maintain aseptic technique and hand hygiene compliance.
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Ensure patient safety and respond to emergencies appropriately.
• Adhere to Wellstar Health System policies and codes of conduct.
