Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform Diagnostic Imaging procedures on patients of all ages under the supervision of a Radiologist or Manager. The role emphasizes safety, image quality, and ALARA to minimize exposure while providing reliable data for physicians.

You will operate imaging equipment, verify patient identity, assist Radiologists with procedures, and uphold department standards.

Qualifications

• Accredited radiologic technology program is required.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Diagnostic Imaging exams across age groups per ALARA and department standards.
• Evaluate image quality, post-process data, and verify patient identification.
• Provide patient-centered care and ensure safety during procedures.
• Assist Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Adhere to department policies and Wellstar standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
