Mercy is seeking an Advanced Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and patient safety at the forefront. You will operate imaging equipment, maintain high-quality standards, and document procedures and findings while coordinating with care teams.
Required are ARRT-Radiography certification, BLS, and graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program with clinical hours; one year of experience or a bachelor’s degree.
The Advanced Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to support patient diagnosis and treatment. This role requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, upholding high-quality imaging standards, and maintaining accurate records and documentation of procedures and findings. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program
Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Radiography (ARRT(R)); Basic Life Support (BLS).
