Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform a wide range of Diagnostic Imaging procedures across patient ages. You will work under the supervision of a Radiologist or Manager to deliver high-quality imaging data for medical decisions.

You will apply ALARA principles, ensure accurate patient identification, and uphold patient safety and aseptic protocols while collaborating with the Radiology team.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required on hire.
• BLS Instructor or BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Diagnostic Imaging while following department protocols and ALARA principles.
• Acquire/post-process images; verify patient identification and image quality.
• Provide patient-centered care and support patient needs during procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Follow aseptic technique and hand hygiene policies.
• Assist Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Other duties as assigned.
