Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform a wide range of imaging procedures for patients of all ages. You will work under the supervision of a Radiologist or Manager, applying ALARA principles and ensuring accurate data for physicians.

Responsibilities include performing exams, assessing image quality, maintaining patient safety, and supporting the radiology team in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate Diagnostic Imaging equipment.
• Ability to communicate verbally and written.
• Possess excellent patient/customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates sound knowledge in Diagnostic Imaging and ALARA to minimize exposure.
• Performs various Diagnostic Imaging exams and evaluates image quality.
• Ensures proper patient identification and post-processing of data.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Maintains patient safety and aseptic techniques.
• Adheres to department policies and Wellstar Health System standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
