Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist in Hopkinton to perform imaging procedures for diagnostic purposes, while prioritizing ALARA principles and patient safety. The role includes patient interaction and adherence to regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will hold an accredited radiologic technology degree, ARRT registration or eligibility, MA DPH licensure, and CPR certification, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiological technology program.
• Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible.
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Health: Radiation Control Program.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Follows Quality Control policies and procedures for compliance with regulations.
• Uses radiation safety measures to ensure safety of patients and staff.
• Greets patients politely and efficiently.
• Takes thorough and accurate patient medical histories.
• Explains procedures to patients in English and monitors safety and comfort during scans.
