Job summary

Baptist Health in St. Augustine, FL is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join the Diagnostic Imaging Department at Baptist ED Silverleaf. This is a PRN, varied shifts opportunity with participation in call and holiday rotation.

You will prep rooms, position patients and operate imaging equipment to capture clear diagnostic images that guide clinical decisions, while collaborating with nurses and physicians to provide safe, accurate, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Licensure and/or ARRT certification required per state rules.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in a hospital imaging department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic procedures.
• Position patients and prep rooms for imaging.
• Operate advanced imaging equipment and ensure safety.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians for accurate diagnostics.
• Report to lead technologist on shift and follow health requirements.
• Comfortable working with pediatric patients.

Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Radiology Technologist to our Diagnostic Imaging Department at Baptist ED Silverleaf in St. Augustine, FL. This is a PRN, varied shifts opportunity. Participation in call and holiday rotation required.

As a Radiology Technologist, your day will consist of prepping rooms and positioning patients to capture clear diagnostic images that guide clinical decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with nurses and physicians, operate advanced imaging equipment, and ensure every patient receives safe, accurate, and compassionate care.

• Performing high-quality radiographic procedures
• Promoting goodwill amongst co-workers and with other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients
• Reporting to the Lead Technologist on shift
• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements
• Comfortable with Pediatrics
• Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, by state and federal regulations, or Lawful institutional policy

Experience Requirements:

• Customer Service Experience preferred
• Radiology/Imaging Experience preferred
• Experience working in a hospital setting preferred

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Vocational School
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - DOH Required Or
• Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography, ARRT (CI) Required Or
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT - ARRT Or
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) - CCI - Cardiovascular Preferred
