Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform a wide range of imaging procedures with emphasis on patient care and quality results. You will assist physicians, operate imaging equipment, and ensure accurate documentation and coding for exams.

The role requires AHA BLS, CA fluoroscopy permit, ARRT and CRT certifications, and strict adherence to patient safety and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• BLS for Healthcare Professionals (AHA BLS) REQUIRED.
• Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy Permit - CA Department of Public Health - REQUIRED.
• ARRT Certificate - ARRT - REQUIRED.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - CA Department of Public Health - REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Documentation management.
• Verify physicians' written orders and ensure appropriate clinical indication of ordered exams.
• Begin exams in IDXrad and perform exams as directed.
• Accurately complete exams in IDXrad, including contrast, fluoroscopy time, QC, and modifiers.
• Provide patient education before and after procedures and maintain patient confidentiality.
