Job summary

Sharp Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, CA is hiring a Radiology Technologist for day shift, full-time. The role performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring image quality, patient safety, and proper documentation in RIS/PACS.

On-site work with flexible shift times and weekend coverage as needed. The ideal candidate holds CRT certification, BLS, and California Fluoroscopy Permit, with ARRT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) is required.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals (BLS) is required.
• California Fluoroscopy Permit required; must obtain within 6 months for new grads/out-of-state applicants.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire (Cath Lab only).
• ARRT certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations with supervision as needed.
• Quality check of images and ensure correct positioning and exposure parameters.
• Operate x-ray equipment for designated body parts as ordered by the physician.
• Assist with fluoroscopic procedures and imaging in OR/other settings.
• Ensure radiation safety and infection control standards; document exams in RIS/PACS.
