Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the 01120 GCMG Union Family Medicine department in North Carolina. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, safeguarding patient safety, and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements include graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certification with eligibility to register within 12 months, CPR, and at least six months of related experience; one year with patients is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum six months experience as a diagnostic Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• One year experience with patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital and department policies and procedures; communicates effectively with team.
• Performs diagnostic and/or therapeutic imaging procedures as per state regulations.
• Maintains readiness of emergency equipment and supplies and responds to emergencies as needed.
• Ensures accurate patient records via correct data entry and archiving of images.
• Maintains knowledge of equipment, procedures and systems used to perform job functions.
