Job summary

Qualified candidates graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, hold ARRT-R, and possess current BLS/ALS with Texas MRT license or temporary license. Weekend work and cross-location coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support (BLS/ALS) required.
• Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT) required.
• Registered Radiology Technologist by ARRT (ARRT-R) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiography (x-ray) exams on patients.
• Ensure radiation safety procedures are followed.
• Prepare patients, position for exams, and select imaging techniques.
• Enter and monitor patient data and perform quality assurance on equipment.
• May assist with registrations and administrative tasks as needed.
• May work weekends or float to other locations.
