Job summary

One Brooklyn Health is seeking an X-ray Technologist to perform radiographs for diagnostic purposes. Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an X-Ray technologist program.
• Must hold or obtain NY State license within six months of temporary license issuance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct x-ray examinations and ensure safety, courtesy, morality, and privacy.
• Care for the patient during the examination as directed by medical staff.
• Render emergency assistance if needed.
• Apply patient identification and label images; acquire images in RIS/PACS as ordered.
• Process diagnostic images for radiologist review.
• Enter patient data into RIS/PACS. Maintain imaging room cleanliness.
• Notify supervisors of equipment issues affecting safety.
