Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging functions in an inpatient setting under radiologist supervision. The role supports patient care through accurate procedures, proper identification, and safe imaging practices within a 36-hour week schedule across day/evening/night shifts.

The position offers a $7,500 starting bonus for eligible external talent, requires ARRT registration, and includes opportunities to work with Excellian and PACS systems.

Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical Training graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program
• 0 to 2 years in Radiology
• Registered Technologist - ARRT required must be registered upon hire
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association and Red Cross
• Allina in-house BLS training within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Completes procedures in compliance with physician orders and department guidelines
• Identifies patient with two identifiers
• Documents accurately all needed aspects of the procedure
• Observes and communicates with patient, responding to needs
• Maintains safe patient environment in procedure area
• Performs procedures with high degree of accuracy
• Demonstrates knowledge of all diagnostic equipment
• Uses Excellian (electronic medical record) and Enterprise Imaging/PACS systems
• Ensures all documentation is complete post procedure
• Communicates with supervisor and team
• Reports problems, issues or ideas
• Provides assistance and information to support the work of others
• Other duties as assigned
