Job summary

Allina Health is hiring a Radiology Technologist in New Ulm, MN. The role performs diagnostic radiologic imaging as directed by providers, ensuring timely, high-quality service. The position offers 0.9 FTE (72 hours per two-week pay period) with 8-hour day/evening/night shifts and weekends on a rotation, including new graduates.

Starting bonus of $7,500 is available for eligible external talent. Priority is given to patient safety and accurate documentation, with Proficiency in Excellian EMR and

Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical Training graduate of accredited School of Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Registered Technologist required; MRI/CT certification if working in those areas upon hire.
• BLS certification required (AHA, Red Cross or in-house).

Responsibilities

• Completes procedures in compliance with physician orders and department guidelines.
• Identifies patient with two identifiers.
• Documents accurately all needed aspects of the procedure.
• Observes and communicates with patient, responding to needs.
• Maintains safe patient environment in procedure area.
• Gathers relevant information to assist interpretation of images.
• Verifies imaging has transferred to imaging storage/retrieval system.
