Job summary

Allina Health is seeking an Imaging Technologist to perform diagnostic procedures, ensuring accuracy and patient safety in a fast-paced environment. You will room patients, verify identifiers, and document every step while maintaining a clean, organized procedure area.

The role may include DEXA scans and requires proficiency with Excellian and PACS/EMR systems, plus strong communication with the team and supervisor.

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program.
0 to 2 years in Radiology on the job preferred.

Responsibilities

Complete procedures per physician orders, regulatory requirements, and department guidelines.
Room patients and manage patient flow; identify patient with two identifiers.
Document all needed aspects of the procedure.
Observe and communicate with patient, responding to needs.
Maintain safe patient environment in procedure area.
May perform DEXA scans.
Provide accurate clerical function using Excellian and the EMR/PACS systems.
Ensure imaging has transferred to storage/RIS.
Stock necessary medical and radiological supplies.
Communicate with supervisor and team; report problems and ideas.
Perform other duties as assigned.
